With over 30 years experience as a counselor for couples and families, and as a graduate of Texas Womans University specializing in Family Systems, I currently serve as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are GRIEF WORK, COUNSELING FOR ALL KINDS OF RELATIONSHIPS - COUPLES, FAMILIES, FRIENDS, COWORKERS, and PARENTING, as well as ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION, and RECOVERY FROM TRAUMA and ABUSE.
As with many therapists, I certainl y enjoy working with women - single and married - and being a woman myself have quite a bit of experience! I would emphasize however that I definitely welcome and enjoy counseling with Men - as individuals or as p art of a couple . I believe that men have unique challenges and need some understanding and compassion too! I have provided therapy for scores of men on an individual basis and have a strong empathy for men's issues.
In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, I have presented to a variety of audiences, including churches, schools, & at private workshops, speaking on topics for couples, parents, families and improving office/practice dynamics.

I integrate many complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
